Fees

The following fees apply to both face-to-face and telehealth sessions.

Initial assessment - $380*

1 hour session* including a standardised assessment and/or combination of speech, language and/or literacy screeners. Also includes discussion with parents/carers about concerns. Results will be documented in a formal report. 

*Note, we want to make sure your child is comfortable and is given the best opportunity to show us their talking and/or reading skills. In some cases an hour may not be long enough to get to know your child and where they are at. Any face to face parts of assessment not completed within the hour will be completed during the therapy session the following week(s) and charged at the standard therapy rate.

Standard therapy session - $190

Includes 45-minute therapy session to work on goals, with 15 minutes indirect time for preparation, mandatory documentation and providing email updates to parents/teachers (if applicable).

Short therapy session (suitable for Speech Sound Disorders only) - $125

Includes 30-minute therapy session to work on articulation or phonology goals, with 10 minutes indirect time for preparation, mandatory documentation and providing email updates to parents/teachers (if applicable).

Additional reports and correspondence

Additional reports (e.g. at end of term or following informal assessment) can be provided for $190. Phone calls or letters written to other professionals involved in your child’s care will be charged at a rate of $30 per 15 minutes of admin time. For school-based clients there may be additional costs for attendance at school meetings or for classroom observation. These fees will be discussed prior to your child’s therapy block.

 

Payment

Payment is required at the end of each face-to-face appointment and EFTPOS is our preferred payment method. An itemised invoice will be provided for your records, and for you to use for NDIS, Medicare and private health claiming as applicable.

For telehealth sessions, an invoice will be issued following the session which can be paid for by card over a secure service.

If you cannot attend an appointment, we require you to advise by 12pm the day prior or you may be charged the full appointment fee as per our booking and cancellation policy.
